We Are Fully Insured

Dependable Construction hold public liability insurance of £2,000,000 and employers liability insurance of £10,000,000. These documents are available for clients to inspect before, during or after all projects that we are involved in.

We Safeguard Your Data

As a business who processes clients personal information, we guarantee that your data will only be used by us in the manner that you would reasonably expect. Your data belongs to you and data protection law prescribes that your data should only be used properly and legally. 

We Only Use Fully Accredited Tradesmen

The majority of building work undertaken in England and Wales is governed by statute. Legislation prescribes that certain stages of a loft conversion, extension, or a garage conversion require certification that may only be issued by a member of a UKAS accredited membership scheme. This ensures that work is carried out to a specific standard and that the work is independently guaranteed. 

It makes it very difficult for non members to carry out work, very often “on the side” thus exposing clients to a lack of protection. All of the tradesmen that we employ are, where necessary, bona fide members of their relevant accredited membership schemes. 

These tradesmen issue certification upon the completion of their work. This ensures that projects can be approved by building inspectors and/or local authorities and that the workmanship is backed and guaranteed by a recognised body.

Clients Do Not Make Any Up Front Payments

We don’t take any deposits up front from our clients. We always work in arrears. This gives clients complete peace of mind that they will never part with money for work that has not been completed.


After completing an extension, loft conversion, garage conversion or renovation, clients will automatically receive a free, complimentary maintenance agreement. This will cover any issues that may arise during a 12 month period after completion. Emergencies will be dealt with straight away, non -urgent maintenance will be attended to within a 48 hour response time.
